Notes from the workshop

ILGAS – Life lessons with sawdust.

A page nobody strictly needed, but we wanted to make anyway. Five thoughts about timber, stairs and a craftsperson’s day.

01 / Measure

Twice is the minimum

The first time you measure the wood. The second time you make sure it is the right piece of wood.

02 / Level

The spirit level never lies

It merely points out, with great tact, where you rushed yesterday.

03 / Timber

Every board has a personality

One behaves. Another dreams of becoming a propeller. We speak politely to both.

04 / Stairs

One step at a time

Good stairs cannot promise success. They can at least get you to the next floor.

05 / Coffee

Breaks are part of the job

The saw should not be the first thing you talk to in the morning.
